 QCPD launches Pamilya ko Ayaw sa Droga

                                   

          The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) launched today one of the Philippine National Police (PNP) latest anti-illegal drugs program dubbed Pamilya ko Ayaw sa Droga (PAD) at its headquarters in Camp Tomas Karingal, Sikatuna Village in Quezon City and subsequently to different elementary and secondary schools in Quezon City.

 

 

           QCPD Director Police Chief Superintendent Benjardi Mantele gave an overview of PAD, which in a nutshell, is a drug awareness crusade capitalizing on enhancing family relationships and values as a formidable defense against dangerous drugs.

NCRPO chief visits PNP’s Best District:Don’t abuse authority, cops told

 

          Police Director Leocadio Santiago Jr, the new National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) Chief, reminded the men and women of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) to be aggressive against criminals and extend the best police service to the people in order to maintain their trust in the entire Philippine National Police (PNP).

           

          This developed as Gen. Santiago visited the personnel of the QCPD this morning at its headquarters in Camp Tomas Karingal, Sikatuna Village, Quezon City .

5 Jeepney Robbers Engage QCPD In Shoot-out, 3 Die

          Five jeepney hold-up suspects, spotted by QCPD operatives robbing a jeepney’s passengers in the west-bound underpass of the Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City, fired at the approaching lawmen and three of them died in the exchange of fire starting at about 8:00pm last August 4, 2010, while two escaped.

 

 

          Quezon City Police District Director PCSupt Benjard H Mantele said elements of QCPD’s Special Intelligence Action Section (SIAS) led by Police Inspector Genaro Martinez, backed up by Anti Carnapping operatives led by Police Chief Inspector Rodel Marcelo, were on patrol aboard marked vehicles and unmarked vehicles on Commonwealth Avenue when the shoot-out started.
